The scholarship covers the cost of the program ($10K) from beginning to end. This includes 4 weeks of immersive training, including personal and professional development, practical skill building, access to coaches, mentors, and industry leaders, and the potential to earn a paid 8-week internship with one of our CS YOU employer partners. The scholarship also includes support with your subsequent job search. You don’t have to pay anything beyond the $100 commitment fee, and we will refund that fee when you successfully complete the program.

All students are required to have the technological support to learn and work remotely, this includes having access to computers, wifi, and programs like Zoom and Slack. Once admitted to the 4-week, full-time program and before it officially starts, you will be expected to complete assignments designed to help you get the most out of the experience. You also need to be available for full-time employment to secure one of the 20 paid internships starting January 10th, 2021.

You can complete the upfront 4-week training 100% remotely. We currently have 30+ employer partners around the country and internationally who are supporting CS YOU. Some are offering paid internship opportunities that can also be completed remotely and others may require in-person presence or may be restricted to applicants in their local market. If you complete an internship and receive a full-time offer from a company you may be asked to relocate.

Internships awarded at the end of the training program are intended to run for 8 weeks and pay $10,000 in gross income. Whether or not you are granted an internship, SV Academy will provide you with interview training and job search support as you look for your first Customer Success role.

CS YOU students will be matched with sponsoring companies based on overall performance which factors attendance and class engagement, as well as completing and passing assignments, and based on the needs and requirements of our employer partners.

Regardless of whether you secure a paid internship, we will provide you the tools you need to pursue and land your first Customer Success role.

Many of the companies participating in CS YOU have indicated that they are planning or are open to the possibility of converting an internship into a full-time employee role. However, there are no guarantees as getting hired by a company depends on other factors including timing and fit.
